News – local Rhodian newspaper (Greek only) – the other main local newspaper (Greek only) – news website of ‘Red’ television channel (Greek only) – Greece’s longest running English language paper – abridged English version of the Greek paper Kathimerini.

Rhodes and the Dodecanese – complete directory of all local businesses on-line. – lots of adverts and only in Greek for now but does seem to include cinema and chemist details. – includes some news and a local phone directory – comprehensive site about all things Symi

Education – The University of the Aegean, based on Rhodes and Lesbos

Cultural – organise medieval fairs annually in the Old Town. – the Writers and Translation Centre of Rhodes – blog from the Rhodes cinema club, some articles in English – organisers of the annual film festival in Rhodes – museum of Greek Modern Art – organise an annual program of classical music concerts in Rhodes, usually performed in the Old Town.

Living in Greece – forum for English-speakers living in Greece, mostly Athens-based. – a blog by John Manuel, an Englishman who has been living in Kiotari in the south of Rhodes for several years. He is the author of two books on his experiences in Greece – ‘Feta Compli’ and ‘Moussaka to My Ears’, and seems to be a big fan of seventies rock music and bad puns…
