Klub Kasteli is an 'interntaional friendship club' who meet every Thursday from 8pm at the Hotel Kastelli in Afandou. There is music (not too loud), a proper darts board, cards, backgammon and the opportunity to just chat... Everyone is welcome.
They hold an English style pub quiz on the first Saturday of every month at 8pm throughout the year.

The Multicultural Centre of Rhodes (S.P.O.R.) is an association for bi-lingual children. The English-Speaking Association comes under its umbrella and provides English lessons, not as a foreign language but as a mother tongue for bilingual children who come from a home where English is spoken as a native language and where the member parent holds a passport of an English-speaking country.
